I knew that there were other gaps in my personal growth that needed filling and that it wasn’t just the business stuff I needed to work on. I came to life coaching after the 2nd severe lockdown in Melbourne.  The isolation started me questioning my work/life balance.  I worked with Fiona in weekly phone appointments for several months. I was looking for a life coach because I so badly wanted change, there had to be more to life than working 12 hours days in a job that was not satisfying.  In our appointments, Fiona helped me to unravel what change I wanted and helped me gain a very clear picture of where I wanted my life to take me in the future.  She helped me to identify the issues I can control, the issues I can influence, and what is out of my hands. She also helped me to identify my core values.

Fiona had some specific suggestions to help with my work-life balance and sanity in the immediate, and she had some general questions and guidelines for making decisions in any situation. Fiona helped me to discover that everything I needed was already inside of me. She gave very little direct instruction and instead, did a lot of listening, echoing, and asking guiding questions. This sort of teach-a-man-to-fish coaching demonstrated Fiona’s dedication to the principles of her practice, because it gave me a life-long internal coach and a guiding star of my core principles.

Since taking coaching sessions, I have changed as a person, I feel stronger, better able to deal with situations, I am meeting new people, contacting old friends. It has also helped me strengthen relationships with my family.

I have gained a lot more than I expected from life coaching. This is just the start of the new me.
