Did you ever consider yourself a Researcher?  It sounds terribly important doesn’t it?  In fact, I used to be one, once upon a time.  My last job title (which I left 8 years’ ago) was Senior Automotive Data Research Analyst.  All I essentially did was receive technical data from OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and translate that data into our database for end users to access in order to buy and sell a car.  Nothing too fancy really – just required a bit of technical understanding of cars.  But that is the exact same in our businesses.  We do tend to overcomplicate things don’t we?  However, by this point in time – if you have shown up for all of the posts and Masterclasses – you will have a very good idea around what you need to be doing daily in your business and especially who your target market/niche is and where to find them.  So today I wanted to do a very quick run through on other ways to market your business that you may not have thought of and then allow you to be the entrepreneur and start researching.  Here goes:

  1. Facebook Ads;
  2. Facebook Job Posts from your Business Page;
  3. Google Ads;
  4. Google My Business;
  5. Linked In Ads;
  6. Linked In Job Ads;
  7. Banner advertising on blogs within your niche;
  8. Craigs List;
  9. Job Boards;
  10. Free classifieds sites.

Obviously this is far from exhaustive.  But take to Google and let you fingers do the researching.  Be the student and be willing to learn something new.  Type in different search terms like for instance “business opportunities for sale”, “work from home business opportunity advertising” etc etc.  Get creative.  Be imaginative.  Think as though there is no box (instead of outside of a box).  Start to really look at your marketing from a completely different perspective and you will start recognizing new opportunities and therefore see some refreshing results.  Have fun with it!  And NEVER outsource your marketing.  We get paid to market so why throw your money to someone else and make someone else responsible for any mistakes?  Own it, be the entrepreneur and start acting like an entrepreneur and you will ultimately be paid like one.
