There is an inescapable truth and that is, that if we continue lying to ourselves, our results will somehow be different.  Let me give you an example – if I ignore my finances, money will fall from the sky.  That is called delusion at its highest form.  So now as we kick in to a brand new year, it’s the perfect time to ask ourselves the really tough questions.  And it’s only by digging deep into ourselves, that we often times find our own truths.  Below are my top 10 tough questions to ask yourself and I truly hope and pray for you that some if not all of them make you feel uncomfortable because that is a tell tale sign that you are staring some breakthroughs in the face.  If you choose to do the work.  Let’s kick in …

  1. What do I want to change about my life?  This could be anything really.  From your appearance to where you live, who you want to really be, what you want to have, where you want to go, who you want to surround yourself with, what do you want to contribute, how you want your health and fitness to look, what do you want to learn, how do you want to spend my leisure time.  This could take a while to write down but I encourage you to do exactly that.
  2. What is stopping me from getting what I want?  Consider self-image, beliefs, attitudes, habits or circumstances you perceive to be holding you back from living the life you really want.
  3. What happened in 2021 that really brought up some serious fear in me?  Really have a look at this under a microscope.  Look at the why, what, where, how, when and who of this to uncover what is really going on.
  4. What really worked in 2021 and what really did not.  How could I change?
  5. How do I deal with conflict if any?  Am I avoiding confrontation?  Why is that?
  6. What was my biggest failure of 2021 and what were the lessons/feedback that I can take from it and move forward?
  7. Who is around me that is on the same wavelength with where I am going and who is not?  Who could I remove from my circle?  This can be particularly tough for you and them but sometimes a good clearing of clutter makes a massive difference.
  8. What other clutter could I remove from my surroundings?  This could be physical clutter around your home or mental clutter or financial clutter or emotional clutter.
  9. What is the one thing I’ve been putting off that I can do right now.  No more excuses.
  10. Keep a journal of your negative thoughts.  Review this after a week and see where improvements can be made.  You will shock yourself

Here’s a bonus question – what one thing could I do today to move me in the direction of my dreams?  It could be to make a call to a prospect you have been putting off.  It could be an ad you wrote out months’ ago but never published it.  It could be a book you started writing but never finished it.  And it’s not so much about finishing it today, but making time to follow through and commit to getting the job done.  There is amazing power in this because often times when we do follow through and complete something, it sends our unconscious mind the message that we can actually finish things, we can complete tasks and we can win.  Give it a go.

That’s it!  I’d really love for you to take the time to sit down and really delve deep into answering these questions and if you are feeling brave – share what came up for you with me.  It doesn’t need to be published and I certainly won’t reveal anything publicly.  Sometimes putting something out there has incredible manifesting power.  Feel most welcome to share this with your teams and those you love.  Don’t underestimate the power of self-questioning.  Know that already have all of the answers to all of the questions you have inside of you.  You are totally resourceful and are completely and absolutely capable of creating whatever it is that you choose.  Question is, do you believe it?
