Playing is just as important as working. I’ve always been a big believer in work hard, play hard or go home. What’s the use of being a spectator in life. You can learn, learn, learn and read, read, read but what’s the use of all that unless you can apply what you learn. Unless you are on the court and playing, you are not getting the best of life’s lessons. I work VERY hard, put in plenty of late nights and start early, but I also play a lot of tennis and damn it feels good to vent in that way. Sometimes all you need is some form of physical release. No matter what that is for you. Some people like to bushwalk. Some like to swim or cycle or just walk the dog. Whatever that is for you, make it meaninglful and give it your full and present attention. You will be amazed how much peace just letting go and allowing your inner child to come out will bring to your soul. xx
