It’s become a bit of a hot topic of late, has it not? Most of you reading this would undoubtedly be in almost complete self-isolation (here in Victoria Australia where I live, we are moving to Stage 3 restrictions at Midnight tonight) and working to keep not only ourselves and our families safe, but our wider community. Now we’ve all heard of herd immunity, however in times such as this (and hopefully we will never see this happen again in our lifetimes), it’s more important than ever to ensure our body’s natural defence system – our immune system – is working to protect us and keep us healthy. It’s something we can control and be responsible for. So how do we do this? A few days’ ago I asked the question to my friend-base on Facebook and I thought I would share their responses in a way to kind of share the love. Hopefully it’s something you will take with you long after this crisis is averted.
- Eating fresh fruit and vegetables;
- Getting outside and getting around 15 minutes’ of sunlight every day for Vitamin D;
- Drinking at least 2 litres a day of fresh filtered water;
- Meditation;
- Probiotics to protect gut health (this is where the majority of your immune system lives);
- Essential oils;
- Staying connected with others;
- Exercise.
If you are looking to supplement to boost your immune system’s effectiveness by up to 437% with a product that is NOT a vitamin, mineral or a herb, reach out to me to find out more.
Take good care of yourselves and those around you and be kind to everyone. We’re all in this together and we will get through this together.
